YBK: Deadlines!
Brit Lit: We are reading “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” today and completing a worksheet over it.
YBK: Deadlines!
Brit Lit: We will finish up Wordsworth poetry (“The World is Too Much With Us” and “London, 1802” and Coleridge “Kubla Khan” and we’ll begin “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” (finish that on Friday).
YBK: We will finish up deadlines.
Brit Lit: Today we read pages 774 – 791 and discussed the poetry of William Wordsworth & Samuel Taylor Coleridge. There was a worksheet that accompanied our class discussion.
YBK:We are working on pages and deadlines.
Brit Lit: Students read pages 746 – 753 and completed a worksheet packet over William Blake poetry. The packet was turned in by the end of class.
YBK: Working on our FINAL DEADLINE (can you believe time has passed this quickly?).
Brit Lit: We are writing an in-class timed write today. It’s argumentative in nature, with analysis. It’s due at the end of class. I’ve put up a GRADE RECOVERY activity in GOOGLE CLASSROOM. This assignment is due on March 4, and I will add points to existing graded assignments if you’ve demonstrated mastery of the standards. Look in GOOGLE CLASSROOM for directions and details.
YBK: Deadline today. We’re 5/6 complete. ONE MORE!
Brit Lit: EDIT: Because more than 50% of my classes were missing on Friday, I am moving the writing prompt to MONDAY. Please review the powerpoint in GOOGLE CLASSROOM and watch the 9-minute video on YouTube to review. ON MONDAY, We will write our timed essay over Wuthering Heights. You have 45 mins. It’s due at the end of class.
YBK: We have a deadline on Monday. We need 1 DPS to meet the quota.
Brit Lit: We will finish watching Wuthering Heights. Tomorrow, we will write in class (hand written, timed write) on a topic about the film.
YBK: We need to finish up pages that are past deadline so we can submit.
Brit Lit: We will continue our trek into Wuthering Heights, making sure to pay close attention to elements of the film which support our premise that this work should be categorized as ROMANTIC literature. We’ll finish up the film next Thursday, and we will write the essay next Friday in class (timed write).
YBK:We will enjoy our NAP to celebrate our second-to-the-last deadline submission. Wahoo!
Brit Lit: My classroom lights aren’t working consistently, so we’re going to watch Wuthering Heights, with the end result of an essay where you argue that the work should be considered ROMANTIC, based on the definition gone over during class lecture and study guides/reading. This essay will be due on Friday when we return from break.
YBK: We will be working on our deadlines today.
Brit Lit: We will review the ROMANTIC time period (1798-1832) in class lecture (materials in GOOGLE CLASSROOM) and watch a 5 min video on King George III. We’ll also watch an overview video on Romanticism.
YBK: We need work to finish JOBS; set up layout for PROM page; work on MUSICAL page; work on SPORTS SCOREBOARDS; finish up all CLUB pages (divider, new clubs, etc.).
